The Entrepreneur's Toolkit - The Tools You Should Use Everyday (#67)
The GrowthTech Newsletter. By Sina Pahlevan. The Time Wizard.
Ever wonder what tools the best entrepreneurs in the world are using today to find their success? Ever won- ok this was a corny way of starting this off.
Here is the rotation of tools you should use everyday to find digital success.
Sina’s Rotation of Tools To Use:
Building A Website or An App
Bubble
For building apps, Bubble is the BEST pathway for any entrepreneur to start shipping technology without learning how to code. Usually in my posts, I will talk about the importance of learning to code, but let’s say that just isn’t an option. You’re going to want to use Bubble to start shipping your digital products.
Typedream
If you need the frontend to a product built out or a simple website, Typedream is the way to go. Most people will tell you Webflow, but if you’re building a complex product, you’re going to use Bubble. So if you’re building a simple website, landing page, link-in-bio page, Typedream is SUPER AWESOME and I highly suggest you guys check it out.
Building An Email Newsletter
Substack
This is the platform I used to build an email list of over 1,700 subscribers. Beehiiv is growing right now and ConvertKit is also a top-rated email platform, but I still stick to my roots with Substack. I am slowly considering a move to Beehiiv, but to be honest, it doesn’t matter to you. Just get to writing and marketing your newsletter at the end of your content with call-to-actions.
Viewing Your Website Analytics
Fathom
Fathom is a Google Analytics-alternative for all you data freaks that don’t want to compromise your data. You can still use Google Analytics in my opinion, but Fathom is worth checking out, it’s pretty sick.
Editing Videos Every Day
I make videos consistently. Why? Because they are how I set up the top of my content funnel. I include a call-to-action at the end of each video, asking a user to subscribe to my email list. This is how I’ve built this audience, so I must say… videos are the foundation of my routine.
Adobe Premiere
When it comes to making high-quality and planned videos, I use Premiere. This is my go-to; however, you must take the time to learn this software. I don’t know if this is the best bet for beginners, although I do recommend it.
CapCut
This is the app I use for quick videos, that are more comedy-based. But honestly… CapCut is better than Premiere. I highly recommend you guys use this software to start editing videos; it’s the official editing app from Tik Tok. Download it from the App Store or on your desktop.
Making Graphics Every Day
Canva
The best and simplest graphic design software for everyone to use. Doesn’t have all the features Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom has, but not needed for general use or for beginners. This should be one of your most important tools if you’re trying to build a social media presence.
MidJourney
I use MidJourney to create all my Newsletter graphics. This is one of my favorite tools and in my opinion… one of the best tools for any entrepreneur to use in any given situation. Just like Canva, every entrepreneur should have a monthly MidJourney subscription if they’re trying to build an online presence.
Scheduling Posts
Tweethunter
Tweethunter is what I use to schedule my tweets when I’m consistent on Twitter (which I will be after my app releases). You can use it to schedule threads and even have AI generate content or content ideas for you (don’t do this please).
Buffer
The (current) best general-purpose social media scheduling platform across all platforms. You can use Buffer to schedule social media posts on any platform. I recommend at least looking at Buffer to see if it can fit into your content routine with the types of content you create.
Project Management/Notes
Notion
Notion is my favorite note-taking/productivity app there is because of their database feature and because they give their users the ability to make money off their product through selling templates. They’ve somehow made it easier to do this than other tools, which is why a lot of solopreneurs out there currently base their entire businesses off selling Notion templates. Check Notion out.
I love you all beautiful people :) Let’s get to work this month. I am releasing my first career app and I’m excited for you guys to see what it does.
